Fat Dragon Print the First Test Mech Of World War Tesla
December 15, 2015 by dracs
Fat Dragon Games have a new game in the works, mixing Weird World War with glorious Tesla-inspired mechanisms. The first test for one of the game's mechs has just appeared, ready for World War Tesla.
This mech has a rather simple design that definitely borrows from the iconic tripods of H.G. Wells martian invaders. It looks like it might have a couple of Tesla coils sticking out of the back, which could be an interesting insight into the tech of this setting.
Tesla is one of those figures of history who has achieved semi-legendary status. His creations are one of the standard go-to's of steampunk settings, and with good reason. Even by today's standards, his eponymous Tesla coils are outlandish and incredible. Hopefully Fat Dragon will be able to come up with some interesting new tech for this game.
Do you think you will join in on Fat Dragon's World War Tesla?

Cool,
Tesla was the electric Jesus.
My coffee almost came out of my nose when I read that… 😛
Anyone else think that it looks like the escape pod from Star Wars episode IV sprouted legs? Would have saved R2 and 3PO a lot of bother if they’d known about that feature ;P
