Games Workshop and Forge World have been showing off some absolutely awesome Necromunda miniatures over the past few weeks. Every time one of these miniatures gets previewed you get the sense that the design team behind the miniatures are having fun bringing to life the characters beyond the battlefields of the Grimdark Future.

House Ty Onmyodo Coven - Necromunda

House Ty Onmyodo Coven // Necromunda

This newest group, the House Ty Onmyodo Coven, has ties to Ancient Terra but allies with all manner of different factions in the Hive Primus. They were known to serve under Lord Helmawr’s guiding hand but also had alliances with House Delaque.

Always working as a pair, you have a Psyker and a Null who can enhance and dampen their powers to keep each other at bay. The Telepath can take two powers when added to a gang and can help you divine the way forward. On the other side of the coin, you have the Null who stops psychic activity within six inches of her and brings a boltgun and power sword to cut down her enemies.

Unsanctioned Upgrades

If you want to get reckless and shun the teachings of the Adeptus Mechanicus then you might want to call on the services of the Heretek.

Heretek And Servo Skulls - Necromunda

Heretek And Servo Skulls // Necromunda

The Heretek can add some blasphemous and unsanctioned upgrades to one ganger before each fight, changing up their weapons to do even more damage. Equally, the Heretek can also do some serious damage themselves with the addition of a grav-gun or plasma gun to turn your enemies into slag. The servo skulls then aid the Heretek in their duties as they rush around, seeking to fulfil their private agenda.

Whispers & Hiding The Bodies...

More colour is added to the Underhive with a couple of new miniatures in the form of the Cadaver Merchant And 'Narker.

Cadaver Merchant And Narker - Necromunda

Cadaver Merchant And 'Narker // Necromunda

The 'Narker is an information gatherer who can get other gangers drunk and shift scenarios in your favour. They can change the result to make it so you have more choice over which scenario you play BUT as pointed out, two 'Narkers cancel each other out so you'll want to make sure you've got the drop on your foes.

The Cadaver Merchant does an altogether simpler job. Should a ganger die, they can sell the body to net you some extra credits during your campaign. Where do the bodies go? It's best not to ask. I hear there's a cult that enjoys grinding corpses.

Cross The Rad-Styx

Last but not least, we have the Abyssal Ferrymen, rogues and survivors that have been able to make a living in the Wastes despite the odds stacked against them.

Abyssal Ferryman Madryc Helbane & Lugrun - Necromunda

Abyssal Ferryman - Madryc Helbane & Lugrun // Necromunda

Madryc Helbane and Lugrun are two such Abyssal Ferrymen who help others make their way into the Abyss. They have made a living using their skills and expertise to get people into Hive Secundus and their time battling against the Malstrain Genestealers could be invaluable if you've decided to go treasure hunting.

As full Dramatis Personae, they come with special rules for keeping your gang alive. Not only do they teach your gang the skills to battle the monstrous horrors of Hive Secundus but also keep you patched up should the worst happen. Hint, the worst happens quite a lot.

All of these new miniatures are fantastic and a great showcase of what you can expect when diving into the weird world of Necromunda.

Do you like these new miniatures coming soon?
