FanHunter To Get New Lease On Life From Devir
March 18, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Vesper-On Games has made an announcement via their Kickstarter page that they have struck a deal to have Devir publish Fanhunter.
If you recall that Vesper-On Games had a Kickstarter campaign last month (February 2016) that they ended early as it appeared that the steam had run out. It is now obvious that Vesper-On Games wanted to see this game come to life and had been working a deal behind the scenes to make it happen.
The game will be published by Devir and it appears they will not do a Kickstarter campaign (at least at this time) and it will be self funded and go straight to retail.
What did you think of Fanhunter?

I didn’t realise it had been cancelled. Looks like it hit its funding total and then went backwards. It was maybe a hard sell given the high funding total needed and the lack of brand awareness outside of Spain. Good to see it’s got a new home, though.
Must admit, found out about the IP during the Home raiders KS, looked at the source material, and tried convincing my lad, but no joy. He just didn’t find it interesting. Think that was the major issue for the Fan Hunter KS, the material failed to attract in key markets outside Spain. Glad David has found some investment, and it’s supporters will see a product in general retail.
What @redben said. I had been aware of the Kickstarter through BoW and because I supported the other two Vesper-on games. Fanhunter just doesn’t appeal to me as much.
