Cubicle 7 has shared another of the archetypes that you'll be able to play as in Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound. Here we have the Excelsior Warpriest who is bringing the faith of Sigmar to the masses in the Mortal Realms.

Excelsior Warpriest Art - Cubicle 7

The Excelsior Warpriests are zealous and powerful individuals who have managed to bring harness the faith they have in Sigmar to inspire others in battle and push them forward towards greater feats of heroism. As well as their role on the battlefield they often find themselves wandering alongside bands of adventurers seeking to bring the light of Sigmar to the darkest reaches of the Mortal Realms and perhaps banished foul cults in the meantime.

As well as followers of Sigmar there are also Warpriests who have dedicated themselves to following the likes of Alarielle or Tyrion The Blind King. So, you might want to be a follower of a different God that commands respect within the Grand Alliance of Order.

The Excelsior Warpriest was a miniature available in the old Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower boxed set (and it was available individually too) but it has since vanished from Games Workshop's store. With that in mind maybe you'll be able to find a model to suit you when the Free Peoples get their new book. I do still like the idea of making miniatures for the characters you're using in your stories, even just as an aid for other players.

Could you play an Excelsior Warpriest?
