Take A Look At The Factions Of Anno Domini 1666
May 7, 2018 by brennon
Anno Domini 1666 is coming to Kickstarter on May 15th and they've been sharing some of the images from the various factions in the game over on the Facebook Page for the game.
If you'd like to find out more about the game then you can consult the introductory article we did on the game HERE. It is going to be a historically accurate game, as much as it can be, but also throws in some Fantasy elements like werewolves!
The Factions
Here we have some of the factions from the game, starting off with the dashing and very charming Royal Musketeers.
The game will feature a number of different characters for your skirmishing adventures on the tabletop. Focusing on narrative gameplay you will see your characters undertake daring scenarios all tied around the sinister Order Of The Broken Cross and their machinations in Europe. The game also expands to include larger fights as well if you like.
Next up we have the Defenders Of The Crown here who are all looking like fine fellows you'd want to go and have a drink with as well as fight alongside.
I love that we're still seeing Wargamer Games Studio taking cues from their Eastern European heritage for a lot of the models in the game and that culture continues to be prevalent.
Last but not least we have The Locals who will make up a lot of the different scenario specific characters and more in your games.
Once again we have a nice mix of different characters here. The sculpts for the game are looking good and I can't wait to see some of them brought to life with some paint.
What do you think of the factions in Anno Domini 1666?

Those are very nice.
Models look very nice. I’ll have to check out the game play, but I can see using those models in other games I play.
Great well detailed looking figure’s.
This looks whimsical and fun.
The models look excellent, and the setting is certainly very unique. I personally hope it can be played without the boards.
I love the look of this game. Very tempted to try and pick up some Musketeers when this launches.
