Face Down Dragons With Hasslefree Miniatures’ Borax Wyrmaxe
December 5, 2019 by brennon
Hasslefree Miniatures have been tinkering around with new-fangled sculpting methods as they show off the work on a new hero for your tabletop games, Borax Wyrmaxe.
The model has come across rather nicely and I like that (as others have said) they have managed to retain the trademark look of their miniatures in this new medium. As an adventuring Dwarf, I reckon this fellow would find his way onto many folks tabletops, ready to hit out into the world and hunt down dragons in the mountains.
We shall have to see how he comes together in miniature form soon and maybe even get a lick of paint!
What do you think of the miniature?

Been really interesting to see how Kev White has been progressing on this. Think Kev would be fascinating to talk to about the differences in physical and digital sculpting.
He look like a hard fought questing dwarf.
I must admit I took a step back (figuratively) once I realised this was a digital sculpt from Kev. Now it’s either going to be a good thing (Kev works out how to keep the posing natural like his physical sculpts), or a bad thing (Kev puts out more minis, but the posing suffers as with most other digital sculpts). I guess time will tell with this one (but if anyone can do it, Kev can)
