New Entry-Level D&D Adventures Await From Hasbro
January 27, 2020 by brennon
It seems like more entry-level products are going to be coming to support those diving into the world of Dungeons & Dragons. Adventurer's Gate and another game by the name of Adventure Begins are on the horizon seem to be nice ways to dive into role-playing without any prior knowledge.
One would assume that this is going to be a four-player experience which will probably offer up a little bit of a mix of both board game and roleplaying experiences on the tabletop. You would probably be safe in assuming that we're going to be seeing a Dwarf Cleric/Fighter, Human Wizard, Elf Ranger and Dragonborn Warlock or Sorcerer perhaps.
The entry for Adventure Begins (which might also be the same game) says that it features simplified concepts, fast-paced gameplay and allows you to battle monsters, pick up treasure and hopefully not die!
According to the site Dicebreaker, this is still in the early stages and the artwork/title might be changing in the future too. With an age rating of ten and above it seems like this might be a good way to get kids into roleplaying alongside some of the great guides published by Penguin.
Will you be checking this out when it releases?

sounds a good kid friendly game.
I thought everyone knew a four person adventure party is supposed to be Barbarian, Wizard, Dwarf and Elf! These younger generations just don’t value traditions…
