Empress Miniatures Adds Thirty Year War Range To Their Collection
February 2, 2022 by brennon
Empress Miniatures has now taken the Thirty Year War Bohemian Miniatures collection, originally sculpted by Paul Hicks, and added it to their webstore!
Dismounted General & Command Group // Empress Miniatures
The range was originally sold as single items but they have now been bunched into specific groupings as well. This means that you'll be able to pick up sets of miniatures to use when building your regiments out. This includes all manner of Musketeers, Dragoons and Pikemen.
Command Group // Empress Miniatures
This is a flamboyant lot indeed with plenty of big puffy trousers and lace collars! But, they are also wearing some hefty armour and look like they mean business! Whilst this has been designed for the Thirty Year War, the collection would also work for those wanting to play out the events of the English Civil War.
Musketeers // Empress Miniatures
As is the case with all of Hick's sculpts, the quality of them is great. He has managed to capture their character nicely and offered up a good mix of miniatures that should make for dynamic regiments on the tabletop.
Musketeers At Rest // Empress Miniatures
The collection never had any horses or artillery added into the mix so there is now going to be a selection of cavalry and artillery popping up in the near future. Also, whilst some of the miniatures have been grouped, the single releases will still be available.
Dragoons // Empress Miniatures
I think these look fantastic and are just what I have been looking for. I love the English Civil War period for its aesthetic and infighting and so it would be great to dive into this range and have some fun with it. Being useful for the Thirty Year War is also very handy of course.

There is a lot more for you to check out as part of the collection beyond what you see here. There are plenty more troops taken from the Bohemian Miniatures collection that are no doubt destined to find new homes on the tabletop.
Let us know what you make of the range!

These look nice
All for one an one of all, fab looking game figures.
Cor those are lovely. Whenever I have fewer projects on the go I’d love to have a go at these.
Nice models. I do agree with Ben that something about the style of the civil war outfits which make for interesting models to paint. I think I could find a use for those pikemen.
