Empress Miniatures are soon going to be adding some of the new 1898 Miniatures Arab-Berber Tribes to their webstore. See what you make of these new 28mm Historical models...
Arab-Berber Tribes // Empress Miniatures
These miniatures come from the talented hand of Jose Hidalgo Rojo who has been working on soldiers to go up against the French Foreign Legion. These would be spot on as options to do battle in Algeria or Morocco.

There are some stunning miniatures in this collection and the majority of them are going to be mounted according to 1898 Miniatures. I would imagine that we might end up getting some foot troops as well to show dismounted soldiers.

It has also been noted by some comments on social media that these could also work for those venturing into World War I and creating a Lawrence Of Arabia-style force for the tabletop. I'm sure that folks in the comments down below can let me know if they would suit the 1916-18 period.
I like that all of these are in some neat action poses. It makes them feel very threatening, particularly to the French Foreign Legion hunkering down behind cover in a surrounded village!
Are you going to be picking these up?

They need a Lawrence shouting no prisoners.
I’ve been on the lookout for Bagirmi cavalry to go with my savannah knights with the horses in their padded caparison. These and Perry’s Baggara should be great.
Is that Sean Connery? There should be a whole campaign book on pre-war US Marines!
We can renact “The Wind and the Lion” and “55 Days at Peking”
