Awaken The Woods With Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms’ New Spriggan
October 5, 2022 by brennon
Wander into the woodlands of Skyrim and encounter some deadly new foes in the form of the Spriggan! Modiphius has released two new sets of these woodland sprites that you can use in The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms.
Spriggan Matriarch // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms
In charge of her brood of nature spirits, we have the Spriggan Matriarch. They and she, in particular, are the embodiment of the natural forces roiling in the background in Skyrim. She could tear you apart with her talons or reduce you to ash with spells if she so desired!
The miniature for the Spriggan Matriarch is pretty darn awesome and I love that they've managed to capture the beauty of these creatures whilst also honing in on the terror. There is a really nice contrast here between the almost perfect face and those outstretched talons!
The Spriggan Matriarch can also lead a band of her own Spriggans into the fighting.
Spriggans // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms
Much like their motherly leader, these Spriggans are just as deadly in combat and can use magic when the need arises. They can also use the natural world around them and the beasts of the forest to great ends! You won't want to step too far off the beaten path when these creatures are wandering about. Stay out of those protected glades!
I really like the selection of monsters that we now have for The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms. If you want to play this game with your friends and take on the role of the monsters, you could certainly do that now! I think that would be quite fun actually rather than feeling like you need to play as the Dragonborn and their kin.
What do you make of the new Spriggan miniatures?
