It is the 25th Anniversary of Pokemon, and The Pokemon Company are celebrating across all different games systems. Whether you play on mobile, console or through the card game, all new expansions are underway causing crossovers for all different platforms.

The Pokemon Company have recently revealed their newest expansion which will make way into FLGS stores this August. Giving your favourite adaptable Pokemon, Eevie and evolutions some time in the limelight with the Sword & Shield - Evolving Skies Expansion.

Evolving Skies Elite // Pokemon TCG

Whether you are a fan of Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon or Umbreon - Evolving skies will put the popular Pokemon front-and-centre of the upcoming release.

Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box // Pokemon TCG

On the 27th of August, players can get their hands on the newest Battle Boxes and Booster packs as part of the Evolving Skies release. Hopefully, we will be quick to see the new Elite Trainer Boxes shortly afterwards for a wider and more diverse selection of cards and Eevie-lutions!

Evolving Skies Japanese Card Previews // Pokemon TCG

Each card that is contained within the Evolving Skies campaign that is part of the Eevie family was be featured as  V and VMAX card, including some variants with different battle styles for more customisation in your game.

Along with the Eevie-centric content, the month of August will see the return of Dragon-type pokemon to the game since the new generation of Pokemon was released as part of Sword & Shield in TCG. So if you are ready to gain more of a strategic approach dishing in-and-out with your energy costs - you may want to take a look at the Rayquaza VMAX and Duraludon VMAX cards which are to be included in the release.

What is your favourite Eevie Evolution. What a surprise - my Pokemon Teams are both Fairy and Ghost, who would have guessed huh?
