Eagle Figure Sound The Advance With New Napoleonics
March 13, 2020 by brennon
Eagle Figures has released a few new metal sets for those diving into the Napoleonic era. Both the French and the Russians have gathered some additional support with us peeking at some Artillery Crews first.
All of the models that you see above are either available individually or as part of two gun packs allowing you to match them against some hefty cannons which will be supporting the advance of your troops. I really like the style of the sculpts, packed with plenty of detail and nice and quick to get to the tabletop.
I actually really enjoy working on Artillery Crews. I don't know why but I usually find them quite entertaining to paint and they always look fun when arranged about a weapon. I think it's maybe because it's like a little diorama of the action being played out on the battlefield. Also, I find it fun to line them up so they look like they're loading and firing the guns each turn...don't we all?
Russian Drums
As well as the Artillery Crew above, we've also got some Russian Musicians & Officers for both Line Infantry and Grenadiers. So, if you're looking for someone to form up behind then these would be a nice shout.
Much like with the Artillery Crew above, this set can be picked up as individual models or as part of a group. The team at Eagle Figures has been working on Napoleonic miniatures for a while and there are a lot of different 28mm miniatures for you to snap up. It is well worth diving into their collection to see if you can find some alternative miniatures to add in alongside your plastic models and offerings from other companies.
What do you make of Eagle Figures and their range?
