Dystopian Wars: Brunel’s Latest Triumph

Dystopian Wars is the flavour of the week for us here at Beasts of War, and so when this showed up on Spartan Games' website it was all kinds of epic. Check out the Brunel Mobile Airfield for the Kingdom of Britannia.
A mighty machine with guns galore and a massive deck build into the top for launching aircraft. Some of you might also recognise the shape atop the carrier, based on St Pancras in London.
A quite amazing piece of kit I think you would agree.
That looks great. I might have to go with the brits now.
You know I’ve been looking over the prices, and DW is lookng like one of those games where you could affoard a bit of a collection. Only £14 for the Metzger robot – big lump of resin and metal. Wonder what a Greedy Witch might charge for such wares mmmmmmm
Depends if your in Australia or not lol. But yeah, Spartan have some very reasonable prices. They tend to only make you pay for what your buying, so small blister packs are usually very cheap. It’s definitely the case in Uncharted Seas.
I think a Greedy Witch might wait till it releases new models and then raise the price of existing sets which don’t get anything new added to them. Like they did with the Necron Warriors which they had going for £14.99 before they bumped the price up with the new models (at least that was the price of them in Hobbycraft) even though they’re the SAME models in the box for over a fiver extra! Hobbycraft still has them for £14.99, they seem to be a bit behind with updating their GW range, so I bagged two boxes last week… Read more »
and don’t forget the rulebook costs under £15 …….
Reminds me of the FatBoy from SupCom 😀
I grew up near the Brunel Bridge over the Tamar. It never made me think of St. Pancras, but it was covered in a s#%&load of bolts. The Spartan Games CAD designs are amazing looking, this included. I can’t wait to get my order now.
The Mighty Oppression Palace!
see, I’m really liking the land and aircraft for Britannia, but not so much the naval fleet =/ (except the vanguard submarine, that’s fun)
