Black Wolf is the nickname given to the former Russian Commonwealth submariner and commander of the Death Bringer Submarine, Volodymyr Nikonov. Whilst Nikonov now operates under the Commonwealth, for the most part, he also runs a powerful mercenary outfit that will fight for the highest bidder. He is a daring commander who is feared the world over.
Death Bringer Class Grand Submarine // Dystopian Wars
To that end, you can bring the Death Bringer into your games of Dystopian Wars with a new kit from the folks at Warcradle Studios. This is a pretty hefty box though and it also contains options for you to build the Death Bringer as the Akula Grand Submarine if you would prefer.
Akula Class Grand Submarine // Dystopian Wars
As you might have guessed from the description of Volodymyr Nikonov, he also likes to live in quite a luxurious style. To that end, you can build the Murmansk Mobile Stronghold or Tobolsk Mobile Stronghold as the Anastasia instead. A symbol of all the things Nikonov wants in the world.
As well as those miniatures, you also get another Akula Grand Submarine, a set of Kyzhak Attack Submarines, some Piranya Hunter Submarines, a pack of Khatanga Cryo Assault Cruisers (Morosko or Pravda Class options included) and the Stoletov Ekranoplans. So, quite a lot for an awesome themed force.
Ragnarok Battlefleet Set
If you prefer your Norse-inspired ships then how about the Ragnarok Battlefleet Set?
Ragnarok Battlefleet Set // Dystopian Wars
This set comes with Scandinavian options for taking to the high seas. All of these ships have been made possible thanks to some significant Prussian investment and involvement. Still, they all come from the skilled hand of Akers Mekaniske Verksted.
Ragnarok Class Heavy Reaver // Dystopian Wars
Leading the way for this particular fleet, we have the Ragnarok Heavy Reaver which is a singular powerhouse on the high seas. Arcs of lightning (how very "Thor") will rip apart whatever target you deem unworthy when in the midst of battle.
Gungnir Class Light Reaver // Dystopian Wars
The Heavy Reaver is backed up by the Jotunn Assault Reaver (which can also be built as an Odin or Gungnir) and a pack of Hoth Heavy Corvettes. So, you won't be wanting for powerful ships when it comes to running this Scandinavian force on the tabletop.
Alliance Levant Squadrons
Taking to the skies, the Alliance Levant Squadrons hove into view to finish things off for this month's set of releases.
Alliance Levant Squadron // Dystopian Wars
Why bother with choppy waters that can toss your ships all over the place when you could take to the skies instead. Dropping cluster bombs from on high and launching all manner of fighters, these ships are quite the daunting foe to face.
Chasseur Class Levant Strike Cruiser // Dystopian Wars
Here, Warcradle has designed a bunch of awesome miniatures that be chopped and changed to suit your needs. Leading the way are the Levant Cruisers (can also be built as Chasseur, Furieux or Voliere Class Ships).
Voliere Class Levant Support Carrier // Dystopian Wars
You also have a set of two submarines that delve beneath the water's surface in search of more targets. You can also build these as Epaulard Artillery or Sirene Class boats if you would prefer. It depends on the foes you'll be facing!
Could you be tempted by these new ships for Dystopian Wars?
