Durgin Paint Forge are continuing to build on their fantastic range of 32mm Inneath miniatures (more of which you can see here in their hub) with The Elves Of Inneath Kickstarter launching on October 12th.

The Kickstarter (which you can mark HERE for later use!) is going to be focusing on bringing their range of fantastic Elves to life. As with everything by Durgin Paint Forge, there is something different about their miniature designs which brings together influences from Western and Eastern cultures.

A lot of the ideas have sprung from the likes of Japanese and Chinese culture but also the Pacific Islands too. You might even notice a few elements of Aztec/Mayan culture in their design too, especially around their weapons.
Not content with just making a range of cool looking Elves for use in your skirmish wargames, Durgin Paint Forge also have some big monsters for you to tinker with too. You'll have noted the big Troll which we showed off above but you've also got that Green Knight (bottom left) which looks like it would be an immense project to paint.

Oh, and there are also loads of dinosaurs in the mix because everything is better with massive lizards right? I am a big fan of the look of these Elves which reminds me of classic folklore interpretations but of course, you then have all of these other influences on top of that. You'd think that it would end up being quite messy but I think that Durgin has managed to do it in a measured way to make these Fae look unique.
You'll be able to check out the miniatures in more detail next week when the Kickstarter goes live so watch this space!
Are you tempted by these fascinating new Elves?

The big nose one looks interesting but the rest is way out of my “want to have” zone.. not my style.
That’s a BFG an no mistake.
These are fun. If i bought them it would be for the painting pleasure, which is a fine reason to buy them, but usually i like a game to go with them. I’ll have to think on these.
Those look really good.
the troll is cool, others, despite to be technically awasome, not my style… i remind me to little bigheads race fron guild wars 2
That troll is every Paul Bonner’s/Adrian Smith’s fan wet dream… Love it.
Love ’em. No doubt I’ll be putting together a crew of them for Frostgrave (regular or Ghost Archipelago – maybe both 😀 )
Those minis are amazing!
Wait… I know a better word….
Stunning ? Absolutely stunning!!
I’m really trying to avoid buying minis just to have them. But I might just have to get these and figure out how to use them later
Backed this in the first 30 mins and it had still funded before I could finish my pledge!! These elves are fantastic and blowing through Stretch Goals already!
