Durgin Paint Forge is going to be going on a brand new 3D Printing Fantasy journey in April with a new range of 28mm miniatures for use in your rank-and-file wargames. Inspired by the return to The Old World, Ranks & Files will be coming soon and leading the way is a mighty Dwarven army!

Ranks & Files - Durgin Paint Forge

Ranks & Files // Durgin Paint Forge

The Patreon will be launching for Ranks & Files in April where you'll be able to get your hands on 3D Printable kits for building up your mass battle armies on the tabletop. The Dwarves are first out of the blocks with a range of warrior kits for you to choose from.

Clan Warriors - Durgin Paint Forge

Clan Warriors // Durgin Paint Forge

First up, we have the Clan Warriors themselves who will be useful when crafting the core of your mountain hold as it marches out to claim vengeance over some slight grievance. You'll be able to choose different weapon options for your Clan Warriors deciding between hand weapons and shields or great weapons. All of them are looking suitably grumpy and with glorious beards.

It looks like you're also going to get options for making command elements of your unit as well. That Standard Bearer (above) is looking rather fetching and also comes with a nice pig mascot!

If these miniatures have got you excited, there is actually a Free Dwarf that you can download right now to print off at home. Once you go Dwarf, you don't go back so be warned!

As you will have noted at the top of this story, there are also some Clan Elders coming to make sure the beardlings stay in line.

Clan Elders - Durgin Paint Forge

Clan Elders // Durgin Paint Forge

The difference here comes in the bulk of these miniatures. They are wearing heavier (and more ornate) armour which speaks to their station as grizzled old veterans with your army. You will need to paint plenty of white and grey beards in these regiments.

What's also nice is that the Clan Elders set and the Warriors above can be mixed and matched so you can change out armour, heads, weapons and such to make different units should you see fit.

This is just a little preview of what Durgin Paint Forge has on offer when April comes around. They have also mentioned that Dwarf Rangers will be coming and if this set of miniatures does well, they could see themselves expanding to include all sorts of different miniatures for your army.

Would you like to see what Durgin Paint Forge would do with other factions?
