Dunkeldorf Show Off New Sketches & First Metal Miniatures
February 9, 2019 by brennon
We're seeing new characters and how progress is going for Dunkeldorf Miniatures as they prepare for a Kickstarter in March. The first bit of news is for a new character sketch, Reiner Krukenberg.
Here is some of the background on this particular fellow...
"A corrupt man who works for Dunkeldorf's Burgomeister, Herman Geizhals. Reiner acts as the captain of Herman's own private group of guards to protect him and his manor."
He is planned as a stretch goal for the campaign, offering you up an additional character option when it comes to creating characters and NPCs for you to interact with.
The casting process is also going well as the team also showed off some of the first metal miniatures to arrive.
Here you can see three of the different characters transferred over into the metal format and I have to say that the detail has remained pretty crisp across the board. I think these are going to take paint very well indeed.
As single piece miniatures, they're also going to be very good for people who don't want to mess with horrifying metal components! Yes, they are a pain in the arse to glue together...don't @ me.
What do you think of the progress so far?

I still love The Empire and I’m a sucker for civilian minis. I’ll be jumping on this.
thanks to @aurorainbag being a fan I’ve seen a lot of the previews and the sketches, I absolutely love these style of miniatures.
They look good.
