May 19, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Dreamforge Games has released a preview of their next releases and this time it is the Eisenkern Command Squad. In this box you will get a command section and specialty MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) troopers.
The box will contain the following...
- 10 soldiers and equipment.
- 1 Platoon Commander
- 1 Platoon Sergeant
- 2 Sniper Teams (Sniper and Spotter)
- 1 Communications Officer, signal relay and Cargo MULE
- 1 Medic with specialized Triage MULE
- 1 Forward Observer team with designator, signal relay and Cargo MULE
The sculpts look fantastic and would be a big bonus for anyone's army. I have seen these in my FLGS and have always been curious about them.
What do you like about Dreamforge miniatures?

I just don’t “get” why the front has “painted” renders (do the heads look bigger or is it just me?), while the back has renders, which look worse than just the unpainted model pictures (the models are great). I’ve no idea how much it would cost if they got a decentish professional painter to come in and paint the models, before using that as a picture (there must be something to it, because Dreamforge aren’t the only ones doing this). I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but the cover in this instance, isn’t really doing the… Read more »

I don’t care about the box art, but I would like to see some different heads, something non-German WWII. I picked up some of these during their last sale, and while I’m quite taken with them, I’ve been shopping for head replacements.
I think they look great. I can understand why alternative helmets would appeal to some people but the rest of the aesthetics seem fine and I like the MULEs.
I’d like some more substantial legs on those walking tables.
they look good.
No doubt, the box art on all the kits do not do them justice. The problem I was faced with is that China needs box art before they complete the production run and with the multi kit KS it exacerbated the issue. I would have 3-10 kits hitting T1 sots at the same time, they would send me T1’s for inspection and I have 3-5 days to return box art… No time for a painter, and in most cases no time for a proper build and photo shoot… so I did the best I could with what I had. Fingers… Read more »
