Dragon Forge Bash Together Some Goth-Tech Bases

Dragon Forge have gone the extra mile with a massive array of different sized Goth-Tech bases which are now for sale. Check them out below and see what you think.
My first thought for these was to go straight for a Steampunk themed force. I would paint these up covered in rust and smoked up from industrial fires and stick some Victorian miniatures on them, or even go the extra mile and do it for Weird World War. Some fantastic bases indeed.
What would you use them for?
Good of them to keep flatish areas to glue your mini on. I find most styled bases have so much going on that you can’t place them on without clipping parts off.
Not sure what’s especially ‘gothic’ about these – except of course the 40K base shapes/sizes. With the cobbles on them they look less like a feral or hive world and more like something from the present day, so perhaps a civilized world’s prosperous PDF army with little weathering on the vehicles would suit these.
