Draco Studios Fly With The Dragons Of The Red Moon
March 22, 2019 by brennon
Draco Studios are on Kickstarter right now with Dragons Of The Red Moon, a range of 200mm tall Dragons in resin that you could use in Fantasy games and of course any quest you might undertake in Dungeons & Dragons.
The campaign is focusing in on three different Dragons, to begin with, but two more are also on the way. Each of them is packed with detail and, as someone who really likes their Dragons, I think it's awesome to see such magnificent beasts coming to the tabletop.
Now, I will stress that whilst we've seen some great artwork and some wonderful renders there hasn't been anything properly shown on the Kickstarter page regarding a finished project or a test. There are a few teasers in their video and such and the artists and designers behind this look like they have a good pedigree, but bear this all in mind.
All of the different Dragons have a really unique feel to them and the team have delved into the background of each, turning them from simple monsters into majestic beasts with character of their own.
I am very much looking forward to seeing how Nixis turns out in render form and of course Baastherox. As well as that, additional stretch goals are focusing on alternative heads, art prints and more. These are BIG dragons and I can't wait to see what people do when it comes to painting them!
What do you make of this project?

Wow a brilliant range of dragons
Proper.
Really great, the art is wonderful, the dragons mix scales with feathers smoothly, never seen something like this.
