Black Site Studios has now released their new edition of their awesome Horror miniatures game, Don't Look Back. The new edition brings updates and revamps to their 32mm miniatures game that first landed in 2020.

Don't Look Back is a cooperative miniatures game played out on a small tabletop where you and your fellow survivors/heroes/poor unfortunates have to deal with a Killer (sometimes based on a Hollywood icon). You'll have to avoid their knife/axe/chainsaw and find a way to thwart them at the same time.

The new edition features revised mechanics and more clarity throughout the rulebook. You'll also find new characters for you to play as and a full Plot Creation section that builds on the classic core Plots of the game with randomly generated ones for even more replayability.

You've then got bonus rules for Vehicles and Companions and previous expansions are going to be folded into the book as well. That means Trilogies, Final Call and Pack Hunt have also been introduced into this second edition book as Advanced Rules.

New Don't Look Back Miniatures

As well as the revised Core Rulebook, you've also got a fun new set of Core Heroes for you to add to your collection.

This is a new set of 32mm resin miniatures for use with Don't Look Back. Max, Set and the rest of the original characters are joined by two new unfortunates in the form of Mia and Keen. The eight miniatures in the set are all brand new sculpts which is awesome and they are all packed with fun nods to classic Horror movie tropes.

You also get eight character cards and twenty-eight item cards in the set that are based on the original core deck and Ranger Sandy's garage deck.

It wouldn't be a new edition if it didn't have a new Killer for you to end up clashing with!

Don't Look Back Core - Killers Pack // Black Site Studios

This acts as the second of the core sets that you'll want to pick up for use in Don't Look Back. Northwood is packed with deadly murderers and this set can be used to make various Killers for you to use in your games. You get two bodies and then a good selection of heads, equipment and one or two-handed weapons for you to make unique killers.

If you're a dab hand at magnetising then you could do some good stuff with this set so that you can use all of the components present in the box. As well as the miniature, you'll also get visage cards, M.O. cards and trait cards that are revised and updated from the original game.

All in all, if you've been teetering on the edge of diving into Don't Look Back, this might be the best time to do so. A new book and two sets of miniatures should get you going in no time!
