Learn More Of D&D With Laeral Silverhand’s Explorer’s Kit
January 7, 2020 by brennon
Wizards Of The Coast continue to show off more accessories for the world of Dungeons & Dragons with Laeral Silverhand's Explorer's Kit.
Included within this rather colourful looking set you'll find...
- Eleven dice (two d20s, one d12, two d10s, one d8, four d6s, one d4).
- Twenty illustrated, double-sided cards detailing Laeral's expert insights on key characters, locations, and lore from across the Forgotten Realms.
- A durable, felt-lined box that functions as two dice trays.
- Foldout double-sided map of the Sword Coast and the city of Waterdeep.
Whilst a D&D player can never have too many dice, the additional extras here are the things which are more appealing. I like the idea of having more fragments of lore like this to help both players and Dungeon Masters tell more stories around the tabletop. Maps are also another nice option too, spread out across the table giving you a chance to adventure to all those little corners of the world which look enticing.
Are you tempted to snap up this set when it's available in March?

Sounds great for adventuring new area’s unexplored before in the forgotten realms.
It has potential for a Forgotten Realms GM, but I think the dice and maps are superfluous…
Most people have more than enough dice (although some people insist you can never too many)…
And those maps have been published countless times… I think even some of the old PC games like Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Nights had those maps in the box with the CD’s (olden days… games on 5+ CD’s)…
