If you've never played the game before, it's a wonderful fantasy skirmish tabletop game in 28mm. The model range is full of all sorts of fantasy adventurers and creatures, that are sure to be the right fit for a variety of gamers.
The game has been built to play both stand alone episodes of game play as well as in a campaign/leveling up style that allows your characters to grow and improve as they play more games.
With this campaign system comes their clever tiered dice system, which means what you roll changes as your character stats change, increasing your odds as the games change.
Price point is always a conversation piece for the hobby and Freeblades is accessible with a start up expense of $100 for two players.
Not only does DGS keep this in mind for their players, they really take care of their customers with the rules updates being available online as free downloads for gamers that have purchased the core rules.
Have you had a go at Freeblades yet, and what did you think?

A game that is very much on my radar. … But the price is too high to start right now, I don’t think about the price in cash, dollars and cents, but time … If only the day had 28 hours with the extra dedicated to hobbying. ..
Those do look really good.
I’ve seen demo games on Well Known Video Site and liked the look of it. If there were a UK distributor, I’d dive right in!
Try Annie over at The Duce Bag Lady. She carries Freeblades
That is Dice Bag Lady by the way…..
Saw a demo of this and I must say I was not really impressed to be honest. The miniatures are mediocre at best. ( Like the second pick that looks like a soft detail Reaper Bones fig. ) The gameplay is meh. ( Proved by only offering free updates to rules you had to purchase. If you saw them for free you would see all the holes and not play. ) But I guess if you need to come up with reasons for people to play your game then that says it all. A shame really.
