DGS Games’ Freeblades Dragon Starts Burning Down Kickstarter
September 11, 2018 by brennon
DGS Games has joined forces with Julie Guthrie to create their first dragon for Freeblades, Thrakansor!
The campaign is centred around bringing this Dragon to life so its very simple, offering up the chance to get this massive winged beast for your games. I think the artwork by Bill Bricker has a hint of the Deathwing about him with gnarled plates of natural armour rather than metal about his body.
The big jaw shown up above in the sketches gives Thrakansor a superbly burly quality too!
The Talented Mrs Guthrie
As mentioned above, this model is being sculpted by Julie Guthrie and whilst we have no sculpt for it just yet I thought I'd offer up her Reaper Miniatures catalogue for you so you can see her past work and one of her Dragons.
She is an exceptionally talented sculptor and combining that with the fact that DGS Games seem to be very much on top of their Kickstarters means this is a project you might want to consider plumping for.
There are nine different Dragons within the world of Faelon so if this campaign goes well I'm sure we'll see many more appearing in its wake. Additional scenarios and rules will also be included for those who snap up this Dragon so that you can use him across multiple games in the Freeblades world.
Will you be pledging for this project?

It’s always good to have more dragons.
