Demented Shows Off Desert Guardians For The Egyptians Of Twisted
July 25, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
Sebastian Archer, of Demented Games, has done it again and delivered two more stunning sculpts for the world of Twisted. This week, we see the first two Desert Guardians for the Egyptians.
A node for the Machine has been discovered beneath the sands in Egypt, so Howard Carter will lead his team to unearth it and discover its power. Although the Guardians and God of Set may have other plans for them.
Just look at the stunning level of detail they have been able to capture in these minis. They have all the fancy details and finery you'd expect from the ancient civilizations, which just adds another brilliant angle onto the world of Twisted. It is a steampunk game, yes, but definitely not a one trick pony.
There has been some bugs in the pledge manager, but they think they've gotten those hammered out now, so pledge away!
And if you missed out, you can still get in on the fantastic Kickstarter, Twisted, by emailing them at [email protected]. You can pledge through Paypal and make sure you're getting in on all these goodies.
Will you be searching for the Machine's node in Egypt with this amazing new faction?

Lovely faction ! I don’t regret pledging.
I might regret not pledging…
Oh well, retail prices work for me.
Is it just me, or does the first one look like he’s playing a set of bagpipes made from canonic jars?
Second one is really nice and would work well leading some Traitor Guard or cultists under the command of the Thousand Sons.
Such beautiful work and you consign it to the 40K universe – shame on you!
They are stunning. Might have to have a look at these. I think you’re right about the ‘bagpipes’. If we’re wrong we can just tell everyone they are.
Not my fault if it fits, especially as GW forget not everything/one is covered in skulls so it’s extra nice seeing a skull less sculpt that fits 😉
Besides, I haven’t consigned it to 40k – it’s usefulness for that game doesn’t preclude it’s use in other systems and settings 😉
It could be either hookah or shisha 🙂
Hi all!
We intended it to look like a hookah. The concept has smoke and that perhaps supported the look a little 🙂
The rest of the Guardians will also be along in due course and I, for one, can’t wait to see a few of them (particularly the Astronomer)
Cheers
Pete
Top notch job. Sebastian is a sculpting god.
wow the detailing is looking great.
They look amazing!
