Defend The Woods With New Burrows & Badgers Miniatures
July 17, 2023 by brennon
Oathsworn Miniatures are preparing for a new Kickstarter for the wonderful game of Burrows & Badgers. Three new sculpts popped up recently over on social media which tell a new story for this Fantasy wargame.
Fox // Burrows & Badgers
These miniatures represent the members of Hardpaw Troop which is part of the nine Troops Of The North Riding Chapter Of The Kindred. Whilst we've seen a lot of innovation in Northymbra over the last while with all manner of blackpowder weapons getting a showing, these warriors are the militant arm of the Children Of The Green Mother!
These warriors have been tasked with defending the woods and forests (good on them!) against those foes that would promote industrialisation and the use of more advanced technology that could spell the end for the way of life of many.
Jackdaw // Burrows & Badgers
Miniature-wise, we have the rather dashingly handsome Fox (top) who looks like he could lead a band of very merry men. You've then got two more of this particular Troop with the Jackdaw, sneaking forward ready for an ambush, and the Hedgehog!
Hedgehog // Burrows & Badgers
A prickly customer at the best of times! These look brilliant and it's neat to see more bow-armed individuals that could be used in your warbands. At the last tournament I went to, I ran a band of bow-armed "Merry Men" and was always on the lookout for more achers. With these three I could add to my Otter, Mouse and Rabbit in order to make a particular nice little warband with a Robin Hood-esque theme to them.
A gorgeous set of miniatures as always from Michael at Oathsworn and it will be fun seeing what's up next for the Kickstarter. As you might have already guessed if you're a long-time member of OnTableTop, I'll be keeping a close eye on this one.
What do you make of these new Burrows & Badgers miniatures?

Ooh nice.
They are lovely and a good reason to start a new warband…
