Defend The Steppes With Warhansa’s 54mm Mongolian Warrior
December 16, 2015 by brennon
Warhansa have added another Historical figure to their webstore but this one's not in 28mm. Instead they've gone for the painters choice for their 54mm Mongolian Warrior complete with sword, bow and arrows ready to defend the Steppes.
You can see him here with a serious case of foot-on-rock syndrome overlooking what's going on down on the plains below. He is wrapped up warm too to keep out the cold and is just begging to be painted up in an array of different bright colours as well as his leather and fur.
I love that they've gone into detail with the bow as well hung from his belt. It comes with that impressive quiver which holds a lot of their long arrows which they would fire from horseback.
Maybe this could sit by your gaming table and urge your Mongolian warriors on from the sidelines?
What do you think of him?

OK but not for me I am afraid seen too much good stuff, far too much possibly end up with burnout.
Between this, Reaper’s 54mm options, and other manufacturers out there it might be fun to play a skirmish game (Frostgrave?) at double scale.
‘Defend’ the Steppes? I think they were more the ‘offend’ types, towards everyone else…
