Defend The Natural Order As A Kurnoth Hunter In AoS: Soulbound

Cubicle 7 has this week taken a look at the character archetype I most want to play as when diving into their new roleplaying game, Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound. Here we have the Kurnoth Hunter!
Crafted from living wood you are one of the elite warriors serving under Alarielle but also twined with the mighty hunter god known as Kurnoth. Armed with some of the best weapons that your kind can craft you range across the land hunting down those who would threaten the woodlands and wild places of Alarielle. These hunts may be with your own realm or take you into lands unknown where you find yourself following other bands of adventurers as you seek your quarry.
These towering creatures are calm, stoic and fatalistic in their approach to their duties and perfect for someone who wants to be the 'silent type' within your group, only speaking up in order to offer some sage wisdom or dark proclamation of your fate or that of the enemies. I love the idea of playing a character that, even within the world of Age Of Sigmar and the Mortal Realms, is pretty alien and different.
I have always been fascinated by playing the likes of Warforged in Dungeons & Dragons, pursuing the idea of a warrior who was created for one purpose but perhaps finds themselves looking beyond that to what else might be possible should they break away from their creators intended path. I think a Kurnoth Hunter would allow you to follow that ideal and have you trying to square your duty to your kin against that of others.
What do you make of the Kurnoth Hunter as an archetype?

All I see is firewood
They really are piling on the character options for this,we’re going to be spoiled for choice when the book eventually arrives. Even for Warhammer fans that wince when they see a Stormcast Eternal, you could easily have a large party without ever having to include one.
Still need to get my head around the setting though. I have the ten Realmgate Wars books lined up to see what it has to offer.
I have high hopes that the main book is going to be a good source of info; at least on the Realm of Ashqy which is where things are going to be set to begin with – until then I’ve been using Wiki haha
the ents are branching out?
You went out on a limb with that one.
but the pun has deep reaching roots….
If a little wooden?
I don like the idea of a muscular tree wielding bow and sword.
