DeepWars & ShadowSea Get New Starter Sets Soon

AntiMatter Games has revealed the finalised Starter Sets which will be coming to those who want to delve into both DeepWars and ShadowSea.

The first of the sets is Battle For Diablo Reef which gives you undersea adventures in the DeepWars world. You get the two factions, Dark Mariners and Fortune Hunters as well as a wonderful looking map and tileset to play out your battles on.

It's great that both of the Starter Sets focus in on narrative campaigns, telling a story as you battle through each of the different scenarios. The models from AntiMatter Games have always been really nicely detailed and as a whole, DeepWars provides you with a wonderful opportunity to try something entirely different in the tabletop space.

Exotic Adventures

If you prefer fighting on dry land then you also have the subterranean adventures of ShadowSea to look forward to and the Battle Of Deadwood Forest.

Of the two I think this one would perhaps capture my attention more. The Draconid Legion are a force that I immediately fell in love with, combining a love of both dinosaurs and dragons into one faction.

The female fighters under the Axibalan Empire also look fantastic too. Once again you get a neat narrative campaign to follow in the box alongside all the bells and whistles you'd need to play the game.
