Deep-Cut See the Year Out With New Gaming Mats

Deep-Cut Studio aren't waiting for the new year to start as they have already come out with a new set of gaming mats to take your minis to the frozen tundra or the depths of the sea.
Deep-Cut Studio teamed up with new studio Wargame Print to come out with these four new designs and have released them in three different sizes and in two different materials. These mats may seem fairly featureless, but they keep up with Deep-Cut's high level of detail and will serve well as quick and effective backdrops for your gaming table.

I’ve got two of their PVC mats, and I also own the Relic Knights branded mat from Soda Pop Miniatures, and the Deadzone mat from Mantic. The RK is a cloth mat with a rubber back, and the DZ mat is like an over-sized mouse mat. Of the three I most prefer the RK mat, though it creases the easiest from folding it. The DZ suffers a bit less from that, though I prefer the cloth surface of RK to the more rubbery one of DZ. The Deep Cut PVC mats don’t have a rubber back so they’re more liable… Read more »
