Deep-Cut Studio Head To Stalingrad With New Gaming Mat

Deep-Cut Studio are heading to the snowy and muddy battlefields of Stalingrad with their newest gaming mat. This would be great for those diving into some brutal stand-offs in urban environments during World War II.
Stalingrad Mat // Deep-Cut Studio
As is the case with all of the gaming mats from Deep-Cut, it comes packed with detail. You've got the frozen pools, muddy tracks from vehicles, animals and humans and more. It's pretty neat pouring over their gaming mats trying to find lots of little narrative elements.

All you'd need here is to bring in some ruined buildings and plenty of rubble to complete the look. I like that you could almost do an "edge of the city" affair with this. One half of the mat could be covered in terrain whilst the other represents a trainyard where goods are being shipped in by the German occupiers. A perfect spot for a narrative, objective-based adventure.
Are you liking the look of this new gaming mat?

Stalingrad looks more a scanawegen fjord with a German heavy water plant in it ???
Looks like outside my job right now… Wolverines!!!!
