Deep-Cut Studio has jumped into the realm of hobby accessories in a big way with their new Hobby/Gaming Table which they added to their webstore this week.

Hobby Game Table - Deep Cut Studio

This new table from them has been designed to a budget option for those who might have been considering diving in and getting themselves a gaming table. It looks functional and fit for purpose, doubling up as a hobby space with that extending ledge as well as a gaming table once you've removed the lid. Coming in a 490 it isn't too bad really when you look at the cost of other tables out there!

Here are the dimensions as they are always important when it comes to snapping up a piece of furniture!

  • 112 x 142 cm ( 44 x 56 inches) surface, 83 cm ( 33 inches) height to upper tabletop and 70 cm ( 28 inches) height to bottom
  • Transforms into a table with 91,5 x 122 cm (36 x 48 inches or 3×4 feet ) inner surface dimensions, 10 cm ( 4 inches) deep

This particular table does come unassembled so you'll have to put it together yourself but you do get a set of tools and a manual to help you along the way.

You can also get it in wargamer black...

It would be good to sit down around this table and see how functional it feels. You're going to have a lot of gamers sat around this, leaning on it, chucking dice around and putting it through its paces so it should hopefully be designed with that in mind.

Getting a gaming table is always a big investment so maybe we'll see if Deep-Cut turn up to some conventions with one of these so we can see what it's like in real life!

What do you make of the design as a whole?
