Deep-Cut Offer Up New Grassy Designs For Historical Wargamers
August 13, 2020 by brennon
Deep-Cut Studio is offering up a few new Vegetation Designs which will be of use to those playing Historical Wargames. These are designed to work at 15mm but the details would also be a good match all the way up to 32mm too if required.

These designs come in four different flavours although we just have three of them shown off in full here. You'll also note that they come in different sizes as well so you can use them for smaller skirmish games and those games which are a little bigger in scale.
Parched Burnt Fields Design // Deep-Cut Studio
I really liked the Parched Burnt Fields as they give the impression of a rocky desert landscape that might have been part of the African clashes in World War II. You've also got the Prairie Design here which is very much an open plain that could be found anywhere really. If you're playing Wild West games though, this would be a sure punt.

Finally from the little previews we got, you have the Savanna Plains which again looks like a great place to have a clash during World War II. If you're really enjoying Flames Of War right now these mats would probably be a nice way to set up battlefields quickly.

Deep-Cut Studio creates all manner of interesting mats that work across the genres and these are another good option for those who want to set up a gaming table fast. You use these mats as a guide, using the way that the terrain looks to place hills, structures, roads and such which flow through the landscape.
Are you going to be having a look at these mats?
