Deep-Cut Studio have been showing off a new Sci-Fi and Fantasy wargaming mat which would be pretty great for those looking to battle it out across an infested realm. See what you make of their Rotten Garden.

As is the case with all of the gaming mats from Deep-Cut Studio, this Rotten Garden comes in a range of different sizes. Each option you pick is still packed with detail though so you're not going to miss out if you're just using this for your skirmish games like Kill Team.
As mentioned above, this would be pretty awesome for use in a Fantasy game where an entire realm has been taken over by the festering reach of some entity like Nurgle. It would be very suitable for those playing out the early campaigns of Sigmar as he marched on Ghyran to free the Sylvaneth from their oppressors.

It would also be great for those wanting to make planetfall on an infested alien world. That verdant agriworld has now become a desolate mass of living rock as the taint has seeped into everyone and everything! I think that would make for a rather awesome narrative campaign as your Space Marines try to break the hold on the world rather than just nuking it from orbit.

That would be great for Nid infested planets as well.
I picked up for $15 at Walmart.com 20 1′ square “rustic marble” Achim vinyl floor tiles. Short of a 4×6 gaming table, but enough for 3×3. Seams aren’t seamless, but less expensive than a playing mat, and stores flat. Might still pick up a 3×3 gaming mat if I ever have a regular group playing a miniatures game that uses one, though.
Ooh, ooh, this is what I have been waiting for! I need this for my Nurgle campaigns! Rotigus, Great Unclean One, The Glottkin and all their festering hordes shall tread in this filth!
