Deep-Cut Battle It Out On “Not A Moon” Gaming Mat

Deep-Cut Studio has a new gaming mat in their collection that might be helpful for those playing Star Wars-based wargames. See what you make of their "Not A Moon" gaming mat.

The design mirrors the interior of a massive space station. I wonder if you can guess which one? You get a series of raised walkways to battle across as well as lots of lower sections which could be filled with all sorts of machinery if you were so inclined.

This comes in various sizes including a version for Shatterpoint which features locations for your objectives. Whilst this would be great for Star Wars, I also think this would be perfect for a selection of different Sci-Fi games from the likes of Stargrave through to good ol' Warhammer 40,000. You could have this be the interior of a forgotten research facility where the machines have whirred back to life and are now hunting you.

This also seems like the perfect setting for something ALIEN-based. I could see Xenomorphs rushing across this tabletop with an eye on making you their next meal!
