Dead Earth Games Unleashes the Sisterhood
December 17, 2014 by deltagamegirl22
Dead Earth Games has put their new miniatures, The Sisters of Acquisition up for pre-order. This new faction is for the game Across the Dead Earth, for those of you who do not know, this game is a skirmish post-apocalyptic game.
According to the website they describe the faction: Formed by Sister "Bloody" Mary upon leaving her old profession (the oldest) behind, The Sisters are a seemingly disparate group of women who work together under Mary's leadership to "acquire" rare and exotic items of Loot.
Comprising Mary herself, dual-shotgun wielding Sister Sledgehammer, sniper One-Eyed Sue, sociopathic "nurse" Penny and the aloof adventurer Lady Cara, The Sister of Acquisition are 5 white metal miniatures in 28mm to the eye scale for use with Across the Dead Earth and suitable for most other modern-to-near-future wargames.
If you are a fan of skirmish games and who isn't these days? You might want to look into this crazy bunch.
How about some girl power for you next game?

I could get a box of 30 plastic, customizable, dynamic Female Apocalypse Survivors from Wargames Factory for about that much.
How ironic that the figure doing the “Wrecking Ball” video cover has the most clothes on
I also like that Nursie got her outfit from an Ebay party costume supplier rather than through a normal hospital uniform outlet
Nice ones, although I think painting does not make them justice.
Hace also a look at the Gangers and Mutards from Punkapocalyptic, the pimp and lethal skirmish fame at http://www.badrollgames.com
Those are rather nice. So that Lara Croft clone is called Cara.
They look fine and I really like the idea behind the, I do think the sledge hammer fig is best however, I agree overall with the comment about buying some WGF figs instead, they really are a very versatile set for the same price almost.
The running fig has me curious though as it is almost identical to charity fig from HF minis (iirrc) for the Race for Life Charity a few years ago.
