Modiphius has added two new sets to their The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms 32mm scale wargame for you to snap up. Keeping with the theme of the past few months, the focus is on the Dawnguard and their enemies amongst the Vampires of Skyrim.

Dawnguard Stalwarts - The Elder Scrolls Call To Arms

Dawnguard Stalwarts // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms

The Dawnguard Stalwarts set comes with miniatures for Sorine, Belevel, Durak, Gunmar, Bran and Sceolang. They will no doubt be very familiar characters to those who have explored the expansion content for Skyrim over the last few years.

Sorine and Belevel come armed with some crossbows that are good for putting a stake in the heart of a vampire and then Durak and Gunmar bring might and the knowledge of smithing to the table for the Dawnguard. They are then backed up by Bran and Sceolang who are very faithful hounds.

Castle Volkihar's Vampires!

On the other side of the conflict, we have the vampires of Castle Volkihar that are plotting and scheming in the background.

Volkihar Inner Circle - The Elder Scrolls Call To Arms

Volkihar Inner Circle // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms

This set comes with some deadly vampires to pit against your Dawnguard as they push deeper into the castle. You have a Volkihar Master, Ancient Vampire, Vampire Mistwalker and then two Gargoyles as muscle.

Whilst I would be inclined to side with the Dawnguard when it comes to playing Skyrim, I think the miniatures for the Volkihar Inner Circle win here. I think they look dark and sinister and I like the way the Mistwalker is rushing forward, spells at the ready.

Those two hulking Gargoyles can't be ignored either! I think they would be great fun to paint up and an interesting surprise for someone solo playing through The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms. Another gauntlet to rush through before finally getting rid of the bloodsuckers.

You'll want to use these kits alongside some of the existing sets for the game and pick up the Core Rules and Chapter Three Card Pack in order to use them in-game.

Which of these sets has impressed you most?
