Anvil’s Daughters Of The Burning Rose Get Their Leader
April 11, 2018 by brennon
Anvil Industry has shown off some more of their previews for the Daughters Of The Burning Rose. This is their upcoming set of plastic soldiers to use in your Sci-Fi games, an all-female army clad in armour. Leading the way we have this Kickstarter Exclusive model that will be part of the selection, Inquisitor-Marechal Salus.
This warrior woman takes no umbrage with destroying those who stand in her way. Armed as she is with that mighty hammer you could see her facing down even the greatest of demonic foes. I like the intricate detail work on her armour which would be awesome to pick out with washes and a keen brush.
We also got to see a bit more of the infantry that you get as part of this Kickstarter. These infantry figures will be multi-part plastics, allowing you to pop them together in a number of different configurations.
And, of course, there will be some special miniatures amongst the retinue of models you can pick up. For example, here is their Cyborg Assassin which will no doubt be hunting down enemy characters.
With the Sisters Of Battle getting a reboot next year from Games Workshop it makes sense to hop on board and try and drum up some excitement already like this. We could see some nice armies come together from smaller companies like Anvil Industry.
What do you think?

I think they would make fantastic arbiters.
Those look really good.
This is one KS to watch, very nice models
I didn’t realise these were going to be plastic. I have a whole bunch of resin miniatures from Anvil from a previous Kickstarter and they’re beautiful models. Will have to check this out…
