Head To Dathomir & Meet Mace Windu In Star Wars: Shatterpoint!
May 23, 2023 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games has been sharing some more of the new sets coming to support Star Wars: Shatterpoint's release this year. We're getting plenty of interesting new 40mm Sci-Fi additions to the range including Mother Talzin and Mace Windu alongside some of their supporters.
Witches Of Dathomir Squad Pack // Star Wars: Shatterpoint
We start off with the Witches Of Dathomir Squad Pack. This comes with four miniatures representing the dark Force users that showed up in the animated Star Wars shows. Leading the way, you have Mother Talzin herself but she is guarded by Maul's brother, Savage Opress. One of a potent Force user able to twist it to their whims whilst the other is a brutal combatant, able to get stuck right into the heart of the action.

Alongside both of those key characters, you also have two Night Sisters. One is armed with a ranged weapon whilst the other is intent on getting up close and personal. These Dathomir natives will cause quite a problem for any Jedi or Sith that decide to get in their way. An awesome set of miniatures that bring more of the Clone Wars-era characters to life.
Fight Alongside Mace Windu!
If you want to kick ass and take names under the mantle of the Jedi Order then you can also call on the lightsaber skills of Mace Windu in the "This Party's Over" Squad Pack that is also landing in the near future.
This Party's Over Squad Pack // Star Wars: Shatterpoint
This set comes with the legendary Jedi Master and his purple lightsaber to boot. He is a mighty warrior that very few can withstand and could probably do a hefty bit of damage on his own without the aid of his Clone buddies.

The set also comes with Clone Commander CT-411 "Ponds" and two ARF Troopers that have been sent in to assist Windu with his missions. A solid set of heroic individuals that could change the course of battle and give you a way to overthrow the Separatists on whatever world they have decided to blockade.
I am liking how all of the miniatures look for Shatterpoint and it feels like they've managed to strike a good balance with their sculpts when it comes to mirroring the cartoon characters and the real actors from the films and TV shows. So far, it all blends together very nicely and I can't wait to see more folks painting these up to show off their skills.
Both of these sets of miniatures are lined up for an August release according to Asmodee so they'll be coming out at the end of the Summer to help bolster Shatterpoint collections after that initial set of releases and the core set.
Will you be picking these up?
