In addition to all of the news about Warhammer 40,000+775423, there were also some morsels of goodness for us that enjoy Games Workshop's Age Of Sigmar. Namely, they are getting themselves a new logo (see above) AND a new female miniature in the form of the Darkoath Warqueen.

Darkoath Warqueen

While I like the principle of the model something looks a little odd to me. For example, her thighs seem massive (which is right for a warrior of her might) but they look awkward too. It could just be the pose of the model but it seems a little unnatural.

Away from that, I think the rest of the model looks pretty cool as a match to the Darkoath Chieftain from Warhammer Quest...

Darkoath Chieftain

While some folks might complain about the amount of flesh on show - it does appear to be a theme across both of these Barbarians and they've done a great job of making it so it's not the main focus of the model. Well, in my opinion anyway.

One hopes we'll be seeing some new Darkoath warriors in the future then as well as an update to the old Chaos Marauder kit which has been around for yonks!

Warhammer Quest Villains

On the subject of Warhammer Quest you will soon be able to pick up the Adversary Pack which offers up new enemies for you to fight against and options for those building their own campaigns.

Chaos Adversary Pack

This is a neat call back to the old card packs they used to do for Warhammer Quest back in the day and it's always nice to have more options when it comes to building your story on the tabletop beyond the bounds of Silver Tower and Shadows Over Hammerhal.

Will you be getting stuck into a new character or campaign for Warhammer Quest?
