Snap Up Dark Dice Dungeon Delving Adventurers From Strata!
September 27, 2022 by brennon
The Kickstarter is now live for Dark Dice - The Miniatures Range by Strata Miniatures. This allows you to snap up some of the awesome characters from the Dark Dice Actual Play show and get your hands on an excellent take on Jeff Goldblum's (yes, that Jeff!) character, Balmur.

For those unfamiliar, Dark Dice is an Actual Play series with a bit of a twist on the normal D&D adventure...
"Dark Dice is a horror actual-play D&D podcast that uses immersive soundscapes to create an added layer of immersion. Six travellers embark on a journey into the ruinous domain of the Nameless God. They will never be the same again."
You can find out more about Dark Dice on their website! The idea of the Kickstarter is to produce miniatures matching the characters from different adventures. If you want to learn more, we talked about elements of the D&D podcast and more here in a bit more detail.
As it stands, there are two sets for you to choose from as well as bonuses that will get unlocked through the addition of Stretch Goals.

The first set contains the Domain Of The Nameless God and comes with Iaus Innskeep, Sister Tsavorite Cavernsfal, Rowena Granitepike, Flygia of Zarketh, Father Sindri Westpike, and The Silent One. The second set comes with Ildrex Mystan, Gaelle of House Vogelberg, Balmur, Glom of House Vogelberg, Soren Arkwright, and The Neverborn.
There is also an alternative version of Balmur that can be picked up as an exclusive for the Kickstarter campaign.

Whilst this is certainly going to be great for those who know and love the Dark Dice adventures and characters, I could see these being great for those looking to get some new D&D character miniatures that break the mould. There is a good mix of class and race combinations in these adventuring groups that are a bit different from the regular selection offered by ranges like WizKids.
Make sure to check out the Kickstarter and snag some excellent D&D miniatures!
