Dark Age Preview More Malignant Miniatures
November 21, 2014 by dracs
Two new sculpts will soon be heading into Dark Age and have just appeared on their Facebook.
The first of these is a cloaked rider atop what looks like a rather strange vehicle.
This sculpt is a dramatic piece that you could easily picture speeding across the tabletop, and mixes many of the stylistic aspects of Dark Age.
However, the other model being shown off for Dark Age looms over all.
Here we get a better look at the hulking behemoth that was previously shown off. This really is a mix of everything we associate with Dark Age, being a disturbing amalgamation of meat and machine. Everything about this model looks designed to cause as much chaos and destruction as possible. Even at this early stage, the sculpt is showing a good level of detail and should be awesome when fully painted up.
Do you play Dark Age? Do you know what these could be?

Both look very well sculpted to me. I’m glad there are still some wargames going with traditional sculptors as it seems like we are a slowly dying breed in recent years (not that I have anything against CAD at all!)
It is amazing what man can do with talent and a trade. Traditional sculptors may dwindle, but will never vanish. They can do things a computer can’t, and I’m glad for that.
Those are really promising.
