Daredevil Season Two To Feature The Punisher

Daredevil has been a hit on Netflix and if you haven't watched it yet then you're missing out if you like superhero shows. The action is brutal and amazingly well shot and the stories unfold on screen nicely from good actors. Thankfully it is getting a new Season and Punisher is going to feature...
Jon Bernthal (pictured below) is going to be taking on the role of Frank Castle (he certainly has the look) and will be dealing out justice in a different way throughout Hell's Kitchen next year. It's still a way off but I'm interesting to see how it comes together and if the Punisher can be as intriguing as villain as they made Fisk (The Kingpin) in the first Season.
Did you enjoy Daredevil and if so how do you think he and Punisher are going to get on within the new TV series? They have already done some interesting things with Fisk's character so Punisher might be another established role within Marvel canon getting a revamp.

Matt and Frank get on like a house on fire in the comics. Y’know things falling down, destruction, screaming etc… One of the most subtle themes in season one is how Kingpin and Daredevil are both looking for the same result(a hell’s kitchen that’s better to live in), but pulling in different directions, and I think they’ll go a similar route here, both wanting to stop fisk’s new plan(spoilers: he’s never gone long) but with Daredevil projecting hell’s kitchen, while Punisher, well, clue’s in the name, and then Matt’s sense of justice won’t allow for the bodycount Punisher tends to… Read more »
Season 1 was very good and I hope they keep up the excellent writing for season 2. The actors seem to have very good chemistry we’ll see what bringing some new elements into the mix will do.
The wife and I liked Season 1 a lot, it was a great show. We both pretty much agreed that it could have been 2 episodes shorter, easily. It had a lot of redundant dialog – the Ben & Karen stuff, especially, seemed that half of all of their conversations essentially just covered the same ground. It could have used a lot tighter editing.
Also, the fight in the finale was a letdown.
Eagerly looking forward to Season 2, or anything about Madame Gao and the hinting that she might be from K’un L’un!
never seen the series have heard that it was good.
Need to watch the series, especially with punisher coming my favourite marvel character bar Deaths Head. Casting seems really good as well

the Daredevil series was very good…and all the best bits revolved around that absolutely excellent portrayal of Wilson Fisk by Vincent D’Onofrio.
That is a tough act to follow.
I liked the 1st series to and agree with maledrakh Vincent was by far the best acting in it (this coming from someone who loves a little redhead vampire who was also in it) between this and gothem who needs all these big budget movies that Hollywood keep churning out about superheroes
