Come On Bring Da BoyZz With Artel W Miniatures New Orcs!

Artel W Miniatures has been working away on some special Sci-Fi miniatures for this month. They have stuck with the theme of Orcs and released an excellent set of miniatures for painters to get stuck into, the 28mm Orck-Band known as Da BoyZz!

This set of miniatures comes with a full band for you to show off on the tabletop. You've got your Frontorc who can rock either a claw, pistol or the horns (I think I prefer the horns). He is then supported by two guitarists, a keyboard player and of course the drummer!

One of the best sets of miniatures from Warhammer 40,000 was the Goff Rockers and I feel like this is the spiritual successor to them. Not only do we have the excellent sculpting of Stepan Kotlyarov on display here but that crisp resin finish that you get with the Artel W Miniatures range.

Each of the Orcs in this set is packed with character and I love that each of them would provide its own unique challenge. I also like the idea that you could take a few different routes towards painting these fellows. Do you go with a Punk look or do you try something a bit more Pop Punk/Nu Metal/Goth/Emo on them instead? You could have a lot of fun with this!

You'll no doubt have also noticed all of the nods back to metal and rock bands of the past throughout this collection. I think this is one of the best sets of miniatures I've seen this week and I would love to see a few folks snapping these up and painting them up.

You could even drop a few of these Orcs into your games I reckon. They do have weapons! What self-respecting Orc wouldn't have something to hand to kill anyone foolish to stand in their way? It makes mosh pits a bit deadly though.
