New Cruisers Hove Into View For Spartan’s Halo: Fleet Battles
April 12, 2017 by brennon
Spartan Games has added two new ships to their collection for fans of Halo: Fleet Battles. Both the UNSC and the Covenant are going to be getting some big Cruisers for you to play with. Leading the way is the Autumn-Class Heavy Cruiser...
Here's some of the information on this particular ship...
"This Autumn-class heavy cruiser represents a considerable leap forwards in human warship design and is a testament to the UNSCs technological prowess and industrial resilience.
Using improvements and modifications made to the Halcyon-class light cruiser for Operation: RED FLAG as a starting point, the naval architects at SinoViet Heavy Machinery have added energy shield-reinforced armour, powerful fusion drives, long-range targeting matrixes, and a state-of-the-art magnetic accelerator cannon.
These new weapons and systems are continually being improved to give the UNSC a competitive edge in battles against Covenant remnants and other threats that may yet arise."
A rather cool looking and indeed sounding ship for you to add to your collection. I like the idea that they've been taking and adapting the technology they can to give them an edge against the Covenant.
Talking of the Covenant we also have this strange looking ship, the Carrack Merchant Cruiser.
"These ships of war are relics dating to the foundation of the Covenant, recovered from fleet ossuaries to fight once again after its dissolution. Though ancient in human terms, the Carracks’ reactors still burn with the fury of caged stars and their hulls shimmer with nigh-unbreakable shells of energy.
In the modern era, they have found a role as versatile cruisers and carriers, reinforcing naval battle groups and transporting armies under the flag of a dozen factions and would-be warlords."
It looks very odd, almost like a cuttlefish or something, but it does sound like a dangerous foe to face on the battlefields of deep space. I could imagine this working into your games as an objective for your UNSC forces to try and take out whilst the Covenant are looking to get it ready for planetfall.
What do you think of the two new ships?

I think they are both bulky and bland to be honest.
…just like real big ships or submarines! I love them.
Why they give such non military names to military/battle ships at all. For example this Merchant. I remember that in WH40k it was aswell Tau Merchant class ship too and it was military/battle one of course.
So the Autumn class is a successor to and based on the refit Halcyon class heavy cruiser Pillar of Autumn?
I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect much more from this game after the first year releases. Not my type of game but its good to see them breath some life into this with new releases.
Almost no one on the planet hasn’t heard of asian bride. Everyone recognizes them as lovely young ladies with strong personalities. I’ve always valued such characteristics, thus I began seeking for an asian spouse. I put in a lot of effort and time, but it was all for naught. Then, on the recommendation of a friend, I sought assistance from these individuals. They have enabled me to claim that I am in contact with a lovely lady whom I adore.
