Crooked Dice Preview Interceptor Car Kit Coming In August
July 21, 2018 by brennon
If you're looking to do some work as a mechanic but want to swap the grease for glue then check out the new Interceptor Car Kit coming from Crooked Dice in August.
The kit has been built to work with 28mm / 1/50th scale gaming and of course the new wave of Post-Apocalyptic models that Crooked Dice are working on. You get the main chassis as you can see here and a whole bundle of components that you can use to customise your car.
Here are some of the examples of the work people have done...
There are going to be loads of ways for you to bring together your vehicles for some mayhem on the tabletop and what's better is that they have plans for more vehicle kits in the future too including buggies, trucks, transit, land rover and even a paranormal exterminators vehicle.
Will you be snapping one of these up?

Nice kit. Are there any plans for more variants? Trucks and SUVs would also be welcome.
As mentioned at the end of the piece, yes.
Thanks for reminding me not only to look at pictues :-\
I have no need for this at this scale. Of course I want one though!
Gaslands, Car Wars and similar game systems use HO Scale (1:87) but I have never seen anyone do cars like this for this scale. While you may be able to add them, they should have used and axle system such that you can make it easy to swap tires and move the car.
Gaslands uses any scale you like but for the most part people are using 1/64 which is the approximate scale of matchbox/hot wheels cars.
Ooo the film would have way different if max had them guns on his interceptor.
Only if he still had bullets for them.
the cops were still just functioning in the first film so they will have a stock pile of ammo if they had the guns.@brianfowler713
Mad Max was cool or as its better known “When Williamstown went bad” 🙂
Lol.
Wikipedia lists the fire rate for one minigun at between 2,000 – 6,000 rounds a minute, which means between 33 and 100 rounds a second. The only way Max could carry enough rounds for two miniguns is if he pulled a trailer stocked with bullets.
hay its fun not realistic how many films have you seen cops fire twenty shot an never change a clip.
You ever see them shooting while driving?
Yup and over their shoulder.
absolute amazing. only thing to say is THE RIG
Those look really nice.
I occasionally build/paint little models based on films and video games that adorn my desk at work. I think a Mad Max miniature stood next to his V8 Interceptor would be a great addition.
