Crooked Dice Head Back To The 80s With Next Kickstarter
September 21, 2023 by brennon
Crooked Dice is planning to come back to Kickstarter with another Genre Guide for their awesome Pulp wargame, 7TV. This time around, the team are going to be heading back to the 80s and giving you some awesome ideas for action movie gameplay on the tabletop.
The 80s Genre Guide // Crooked Dice
Inspired by the movies and TV shows from the 80s, you'll be able to dive into all manner of fun games with this cool collection of badasses. For example, you've got those looking to escape from New York as well as those being brutal in the office rather than on the battlefield.

The miniatures come from sculptors like Handy Bigozor and Ari Níelsson and are no doubt going to trigger a lot of "I know who that is!" from people who grew up during the period. As well as the two characters above, we also got a recent preview for the 'Nam Vet who is going to be blasting all manner of foes out of the way with that gun.

Considering that the 80s was a golden age when it came to fun and inventive stories, it seems apt that Crooked Dice would dive into it for 7TV. The game already covers a lot from that period in terms of miniatures so this will work to enhance the existing range and give you more fun miniatures to play with.
Could you be tempted to dive in and back this Kickstarter?

Is that the artist formerly knon as Prince? I don’t recall seeing him in any 80’s movie? Noneheless the renders are spot on, especially the one of Snake Pliskin.
“Purple Rain” was not only a song but a movie with Tafkap in it. When he still was prince @nightrunner
@sundancer – Sorry for the late reply, I haven’t been hanging around much this weekend. Yes you’re right. Now I remember. It was a good song as well.
Crooked Dice should do some miniatures of Garth Merengui’s Darkplace.
Lol.
