Go Cro-Magnon With Warlord Games New Line
December 17, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Warlord Games is releasing a new line of miniatures based on a pulp universe of primordial hallow earth, kind of like Journey to the Center of the Earth.
The new line is called Savage Core and is being developed by Lucid Eye Miniatures and sculpted by Steve Saleh. The first glimpse of things to come is the Cro-Magnons II a set of three hunters out for the big prize, possibly a woolly mammoth, if they have trouble finding one they can always look in the nearest dungeon, isn't that right Justin?

Lucid Eye Minitures have been available from Arcane Scenery and Models for ages. There are at least 3 or 4 more factions alongside the Cro-Magnons including Simians (awesome looking chimps with spears and clubs) that are sat in my painting pile. I think this is more a case of Warlord stocking the models on their web store than them actually releasing them…unless they have purchased Lucid Eye.
It would be nice to get a closer look. I like the atlatl, if that’s what it is.
Nice to see some prehistoric miniatures.
Might be useful for those guys in GoT that are from Beyond the wall. The name escapes me at the moment
Wildlings?
I am loving this range and would like to see where it goes
Definitely would fit in for Wildings or even to add variety to European Barbarian or Fantasy Marauder armies.
