Para Bellum has announced that they will be partnering up with Creature Caster for Adepticon 2023. They are going to be hosting the return of the physical Resin Beast Painting Competition at the event.

The return of the physical event sees Para Bellum Games joining in to host the Resin Beast competition, bringing the biggest and best that we've ever seen as part of the festivities. According to the press release, this year the competition will be taken to a whole new level.

The prize pool is absolutely mahoosive, containing approximately $14,000 with many different categories to dip into, plus some other prizes to get your mitts on too. This is encouraging players of all levels to get involved in the physical event. Whether you are a talented artist or a fierce messy creative, all levels of painters can join to have a laugh, with judges not solely awarding pristine skill.

There are five different categories to dip into and hobbyists are encouraged to enter as many as they like. However, just one entry is allowed per category so the competition isn't too flooded and there's a fair game for all. Entrees must submit either a Para Bellum or Creature Caster model only, with several categories which include a Large Model, Mid-Size Model, Small Model, Diorama, and Unit or Warband.

If you are planning to attend Adepticon next year and you want to try your paintbrush at some lighthearted fun, the competition is themed around a dungeon crawl, where adventures will face the trials and tribulations of the formidable Resin Beast. One particular hobbyist taking part will be awarded the "Beast Slayer" title - bringing the final blow to the monster and event as a whole after taking part in two categories; painting up both Para Bellum and Creature Caster Models.

There will be more information released regarding the competition over the next few weeks. This is also growing to encourage more and more people to take part next March.
