Take Cover Behind FireForge’s Pavise Shields
October 20, 2017 by dracs
FireForge have got three new resin packs of Pavise shields on the way, letting you keep your men at arms safe in the face of enemy arrows.
Above, we can see examples of each of the three types of pavise FireForge are going to release; small pavise for men-at-arms and carrying into combat, large pavise to give your archers cover, and the Florentine pavise, sporting the heraldry of Florence.
Pavise provide effective protection for your troops and was used extensively throughout Europe. As many of them would feature heraldry or religious iconography, such as paintings of saints, I am hoping we will see some impressive paint jobs on these in the future.
Would you trust FireForge's new shields?
